Hey there, I'm Melita. I'm a nineteen-year-old hobbyist artist based in Germany. Most of my work revolves around nature and all things history.

My free time is mostly spent drawing, getting lost in a good novel, and experimenting with code. I make things mostly for the joy of making them. I have a soft spot for horses and history, from Joan of Arc's battles to the fall of the Berlin Wall, though the Wild West is where my heart truly is. Western novels, video games, classic country music, famous outlaws and warriors… I adore it all.

When I'm not daydreaming about stories I'll never tell, I also enjoy visiting art galleries, cosplaying, making crafts, and taking long walks. Simple things, mostly.

I'm not very active in fandom spaces, but there are a few works I return to often: Disco Elysium, Red Dead Redemption, and Team Fortress 2.

This website is a small personal refuge on the internet. I built it partly to step away from the hostility and pace of social media, and partly to have a place where I can archive things properly. I do not have any other social media; it was a conscious decision of mine to step away. There's something really special about caring for a thing quietly and just for yourself, like a personal website.

My main goal was simply to make something pretty and easy to read. It's very much a living project. The code is messy, things move around often, and the whole site doubles as coding and graphic design practice.

This website has gone through several overhauls and name changes. It is currently in its V3 form.
