Goodnight, Montana is a story set in the Montana Territory in the year of 1882. Wilderness, mud, mountains... where the weather's grim and the relationships are grimmer.

GNM is a fluid concept rather than a strict story. As it does not follow a defined plot, its canon is made up of illustrations. I like to think of it as patched together memories. With it, I sought to tell a human story within a Western frame, taking care to ensure historical accuracy, focusing on the characters' humanity and the messy relationships they form along the way.

This story was created spontaneously on May 1st, 2025, for the sake of participating in Art Fight, named after the band Goodnight, Texas. However, I ended up growing to love these characters more than I had intended, becoming my longest-enduring project to date.

Admittedly, the majority of the story's complexity will probably stay inside my head forever, though I do hope to record as much as possible on this website.
